Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the AI Cleaner app ("the app", "we") accesses on your phone, what it collects, and the choices you have. It applies to the iOS and Android apps and to this website.

The short version

• Photo and video analysis runs on your device. Your photos are not uploaded to find duplicates.
• The app deletes only what you confirm. We cannot delete anything remotely.
• Contacts and email access are optional and used only by the cleaners you choose to run.
• We do not sell personal data.

Permissions and what they are for

Photos and videos. Required for the duplicate finder, large-file list, video compression and the private library. Files are read and compared on the device. When you move items into the private library they are copied into the app's own encrypted storage and removed from the camera roll at your request.

Contacts. Only if you open the contact cleaner. Contacts are read on the device to find duplicates and merged only when you confirm. They are not uploaded.

Email. Only if you open the mail cleaner. You sign in to your mailbox through the provider's own login (for example Google sign-in). The app receives a limited token to list and delete messages you select. We do not store your mailbox password and do not read message contents on a server.

Camera. Not used.

Location. Not used.

What we collect

Usage and crash data. Anonymous events such as "scan completed" or "compression started" and crash reports, used to fix bugs and improve the app. They do not include file names, photo content, contacts or email contents.

Purchase data. When you subscribe, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive a receipt and subscription status to unlock paid features. We never see your card details.

Advertising identifiers. On Android, and on iOS if you allow tracking, we may receive an advertising identifier to measure which campaigns bring people to the app. You can turn this off in system settings.

Support messages. If you write to us, we keep the email thread so we can answer you.

Private library

Items in the private library are stored inside the app and protected by the PIN you set. We do not have the PIN. If you delete the app, the private library is deleted with it, so export items first if you want to keep them.

Third parties

We use a small number of service providers: app analytics and crash reporting, attribution for advertising campaigns, and Apple App Store and Google Play billing. Each receives only what its function needs and is bound by its own privacy terms.

Advertising on this website

Links on this site may carry campaign parameters (for example utm_source) so we can tell which ads bring people to the store listing. They identify a campaign, not you.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, and to object to processing. Because your files stay on your device, deleting the app removes them from the app. For support emails, analytics or purchase records, write to us and we will act within 30 days.

Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app.
